The addition of vegetable glycerin acts as a humectant to draw water to the outer layer of skin and give your skin a soft and supple feel; while the addition of aloe vera soothes and moisturizes dry irritated skin. Love this lotion! It's thick & rich, more like a cream or body butter, and the lemongrass scent is divine. Very healing for dry cracked skin in our winter climate in Alberta. (I would suggest packaging this in a jar rather than a squeeze bottle, because it's so rich it doesn't squeeze out easily - I keep the bottle upside down and scoop out a bit each time) Wonderful product - thank you!
